eziPOD 2: parcels in the lockers
eziPOD moves out of eziPay into an app of its own, orange next to eziPay's blue, with parcels and lockers by the day next to the laundry.
eziPOD is getting an app of its own. Since last year it has lived inside eziPay, as one order type next to the washers, and now it moves out… orange, while eziPay stays blue. I did the design in November, and a new developer on the team is building it now.
It’s the same family as the eziPay redesign from July. Your balance on top, big, three buttons under it, and your last ten transactions below that. You sign up with your phone number and an SMS code, and a fresh install opens on RM0.00 and a green Top Up button.
Pick up tells you where each order is… being washed, at the warehouse, in the locker, collected… and puts a red Not Paid tag on anything that has sat in a locker for more than 48 hours. The 2017 list only said ready for pick up, or at the warehouse.
The third button is the new one. Parcels… you pick a locker from the list of malls, offices and condos, then a size, S to XL with the dimensions and a price per day, RM5 to RM12, and the locker is yours for the number of days you want. It’s for anyone, so you can use it as storage, and there’s a partner sign-in with a username and password from eziPOD for whoever is dropping parcels off. The pitchIN campaign eziPOD is running at the moment is about the same thing, lockers for parcels and storage as well as laundry.
