10Q, a survey that says thank you
10Q is live. It's a startup we're minor shareholders in, and our part was building it.
10Q is live at 10q.io. A shop or café sets up a short survey, ten questions at most, and puts it on a poster with a QR code. Customers scan it, answer, and get a thank-you voucher at the end, which they show to the cashier for something off their next purchase.
It came to us through a mutual friend. Lately we’ve been positioning Nerd Attack as a tech partner for startups. A lot of people have ideas, but they don’t have the technical capability to take the idea live.
We’re minor shareholders, and we don’t run the business. Instead of putting in money, we put in the technology as our part of the equity. The risk with that is our time and effort always go in first.
A business signs up, then builds a campaign. It gets a title, a category and a reward, and its own logo and colours, which you see in a preview as you go. Then come the questions, up to ten of them, as yes or no, multiple choice, a rating scale or a comment box. You pick which details to ask for, like a name, an email or a phone number, design the voucher, and download a poster with the QR code on it. A campaign runs for as long as you set, and the report shows the responses in charts and exports to Excel or PDF.
The build is a mix, and some parts of it are in React, which we’re trying out for the first time.
