Hargapedia has passed a million downloads, so the app icon has a ribbon on it for a while, the website counter says 1,000,000, and the marketing team is making noise.

Hargapedia passed a million downloads this month.

When the first version went into the stores at the end of 2017, it had four screens and a search box, and it came from a company that had only ever done B2B research. That was less than four years ago.

We marked it the way we mark Chinese New Year and Raya, with the app icon. For a few weeks the price tag is gold, with confetti behind it and a “1 million” ribbon across the bottom, in both stores. Then it goes back to blue.

The website got the same treatment. The counter on the home page now counts up to 1,000,000, and the phone at the top of the page has a “thanks a million” badge on it.
